What is the CDA renewal program?
This program allows anyone with a CDA® credential expiration date as far back as January 1, 2010, an opportunity to complete the renewal process and make their credential active again. The program is available from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021. All applications and payments ($125) must be submitted online by December 31, 2021.

How long is my CDA valid for?
Your CDA® is valid for three (3) years from the award date so it is very important for you to renew your CDA Credential before it expires to remain an active CDA. The Council must receive your application by the expiration date to be accepted.
What happens at the end of the CDA Verification Visit?
At the end of the CDA Verification Visit, the CDA PD Specialist electronically submits the Candidate’s scores to the Council. What is the process to earn a CDA Credential?
How is the CDA credentialing program assessed?
