Will Sizzix plates work in cuttlebug?
Anything that fits in the Big Shot from Sizzix will fit in the Cuttlebug with the right cut plates.
Do Sizzix Thinlits work with a cuttlebug?
If you use any wafer thin dies like Thinlits or Framelits or Spellbinders or Elizabeth Craft dies, they will all need the C plate adapter to properly cuttin in your Cuttlebug machine. You can use the Sizzix dies in the Cuttlebug, so the A, B and C plates work great.

Can the Cuttlebug cut vinyl?
I recently dusted off my Cricut Cuttlebug and decided, why not! If it can cut paper then it should be able to cut vinyl. The Cricut Cuttlebug is an embossing machine. There is usually a handle on the side that you turn as different cutting plates and embossing folders go through it.
How do you use a Sizzix cuttlebug machine?
Place one hand behind the layered materials and then crank the Cuttlebug’s handle to push the materials through the machine. Pull the layers apart to reveal your cut paper or other cutting material. Pop your Sizzix design cutouts from the cutting material to use in your projects. Prepare your Cuttlebug machine for use.
What happens if you cut too thick with a Sizzix die?
In addition, attempts to cut materials too thick for your machine can damage it and potentially void any manufacturer warranties. Always practice with scrap paper before using your machine and Sizzix dies to determine the cutting material alignment that best works with the die and material that you want to use.
