What are meal swipes?
A meal swipe is how students living in a residence hall pay when they eat at the dining commons. Meal plans include a certain number of meal swipes stored on their Cal 1 Card. One meal swipe per meal period will be used each time a student enters the dining commons.
What are UMBC flex dollars?
Flex Dollars are designed to help you cover between meals or late night snacks at various retail locations on campus, guest meal purchases, and amounts that exceed the Cash Allowance Value ($6.40). The terminals will display your remaining balance at the end of each purchase.
Do NYU meal swipes roll over?
Unused Dining Dollars automatically roll over from the fall to spring semester for active meal plan members. Meal exchange allows you to use your meal swipes at retail dining locations.

These locations are NYU Eats at Downstein, NYU Eats at Third North, NYU Eats at Lipton and Kosher Eatery. RETAIL LOCATIONS: All retail locations are à la carte. Your card will be swiped upon purchase. When dining at a retail location, students have the option of using Dining Dollars or a Meal Exchange.
How much are dining dollars at NYU eats?
